Yes, but what is papier mache?
Papier mache is a crafting technique that involves using a paste made from paper and adhesive to create objects. The paste is applied to a mold or armature, and then layers of paper or other materials are added until the desired shape is formed. Once the object has dried and hardened, it can be painted, decorated, or otherwise finished.

From Mind to Hands
Collaborating with artists has allowed us to experiment with different new techniques, including gold and silver leaf engraving. Our collaboration with sculptors has led to combining masks and sculptures and this allowed the creation of many of our iconic pieces. Our city Florence has inspired us to combine the works of Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci and pay homage to Pinocchio and the Ponte Vecchio.
Our work tools are and remain our hands. In all these years our mind and imagination have travelled extensively but the materials, techniques and faithfulness to a tradition of craftsmanship have remained unchanged. All our creations are made in our Florentine workshops respecting traditional techniques, history and the materials that we use. All these aspects combine to guaranty the highest quality of our products.
