FAQ

Yes, but what is papier mache?

Papier mache is a crafting technique that involves using a paste made from paper and adhesive to create objects. The paste is applied to a mold or armature, and then layers of paper or other materials are added until the desired shape is formed. Once the object has dried and hardened, it can be painted, decorated, or otherwise finished.

Are your products really made in Italy?

Yes, all of our products are made in our Florentine workshops using traditional techniques and materials. We are committed to maintaining the integrity of the papier mache craft and honoring its history in Italy.

What sets your products apart from other art pieces?

Our commitment to traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail are what set our products apart. Each piece is handmade by skilled artisans using time-tested techniques and the highest quality materials. How should I care for my papier mache art piece?

Papier mache is a relatively delicate material, so it's important to handle your art piece with care. Avoid exposing it to excessive moisture or direct sunlight, as this can cause the material to weaken or fade. You can clean your piece with a soft, dry cloth or a small amount of water and a mild soap, being careful not to soak the surface.

Can I request a custom art piece?

Yes, we welcome custom orders and are happy to work with you to create a unique and personalized art piece. Please contact us with your specific request and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
